Couples planning on tying the knot are invited to Sandwell Register Office for a Wedding Open Day next month.
Visitors to the open day on Sunday 8 March can enter a prize draw to win a free ceremony on a date of their choice during the next twelve months.
The day will be a chance to see inside Highfields House and view the beautiful ceremony rooms which can cater for up to 85 guests and to enjoy the gardens – depending on the weather.
Visitors can also meet local wedding suppliers. Among the businesses on show will be wedding cars, event planners, a horse drawn carriage, florist, photo booth, caterers, bridal dresses, cakes, doves, wedding stationery and merchandise and a photographer.
Councillor Wasim Ali, Cabinet Member for Resources and Core Services said: “Sandwell Register Office is such a wonderful place to get married and it is a great opportunity to see inside Highfields House at your leisure. I am sure it will be a great day.”
The day will run from 10am and 4pm and also includes free tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets for the children. The prize will be drawn by the Mayor of Sandwell at 3.45pm.
