- Gallery to showcase overland adventure undertaken by Expedition Earth at Motor Village Marylebone
- Expedition Earth stop off in London in their Jeep Wrangler Rubicon before next leg of the journey
- Exhibition open to the public until 22 September, 2019
Jeep® UK will host an exhibition showcasing the inspiring journey of the Expedition Earth team at its flagship retailer, Motor Village UK in London, from 17 to 22 September. Expedition Earth started with a shared love of adventure which became a commitment to cover seven continents over three years, driving over 350,000 km in their Jeep Wrangler. This exhibition marks their stop in London as they approach the end of the second leg of the trip.
The Wigmore Street, London showroom – usually home to Fiat Chrysler Automobile cars including the Fiat 500, Alfa Romeo Giulia and Abarth 595 – has been converted into a Jeep haven, showcasing the cars that have inspired the trip including the original Jeep Willys, the CJ-7 and the Wrangler 1941 Mopar edition. At the centre will be Gunther, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that is the third member of the Expedition Earth team. Meanwhile downstairs has been turned into a gallery space, open to the public, showcasing the extraordinary photography and video captured along the route.
Travelling from North to South America, across Africa and up through Europe, the Expedition Earth team, Bridget, Topher and Gunther, have uncovered and captured many amazing sights that will be showcased in the gallery, along with some never-seen-before images. Speaking about the purpose of their journey Bridget said: “Expedition Earth is focused on promoting the natural beauty of this planet, inspiring our followers and readers to keep the earth pristine, along with exposing the threats and fragilities our earth is facing.”
The exhibition will be open to the public at Motor Village Marylebone, from 18 to 22 September. For further information on the Jeep range, visit www.jeep.co.uk and to follow the Expedition Earth journey head to www.expeditionearth.live.
