South and City College Birmingham, Community Liaison Officer and UK Youth and Community Goodwill Ambassador Zaf has been heavily involved in getting communities together to help out Turkey. Zaf, who is an Ambassador for UCF, charity founded by Feraz Younus who were the first to go out in Turkey to help out during the earthquake. More than 44,000 people lost their lives and thousands have lost their homes and Zaf has been at the forefront in supporting this noble cause. Zaf with the support of South and City College Birmingham staff and students, West Midlands Police and the Crimestoppers have sent over:

480 pillows
220 Commonwealth T shirts
500 jumpers
200 back packs
325 re-usable drink cups
200 Commonwealth fleece jackets
500 baby clothes
100 scarfs
245 gloves
Over 200 dry food items
All these items were donated by people with good intentions who support humanity. Few months ago, Zaf was supporting projects with the West Midlands Police in helping young Ukranians in Bordesley Green to get involved in after school activities after the heartbreak they suffered in their respected Country. These opportunities to engage in charity work have supported in the personal devleopment and life-long learning for our students.
