International charity Penny Appeal are touring a feature film dubbed the Muslim version of Home Alone. The critically acclaimed Super Hijabi movie hits five UK cities for the first time from Friday 19th August, including cinemas in London, Bradford, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow!
Super Hijabi is a film based around a 10-year-old girl tech genius with parents who are on the brink of divorce. After thieves steal the family safe, she puts her skills to the test to track down the bad guys and reclaim the family’s belongings before the financial stress causes her parents to call it quits! Now that’s what you call a Superhero, Superhuman, Super Hijabi!
Starring the legendary poet and performer Boonaa Mohammed and renowned stand-up comedian and actor, Omar Regan, “this film is revolutionary to the world of Muslim inspired movies – you do not want to miss this one!”
