Fever’s popular classical music series, Candlelight, brings some special concerts to Birmingham for the holiday season. Birmingham Cathedral, St Philip’s Cathedral, St Paul’s Church, and The Birmingham Botanical Gardens will be home to different programmes for this multi-sensory musical experience.
Candlelight Concerts are a series of classical music concerts created by Fever aimed at democratizing access to classical music by allowing people all over the world to enjoy live music candlelit performances played by local musicians in various stunning locations.
On November 26th, two of Birmingham’s most impressive venues will be flooded with candles for special concerts. St Philip’s Cathedral will feature Hip Hop’s greatest Hits, while St Paul’s Church’s concert will be themed around the Best of Joe Hisaishi’s music. On December 29th, The Birmingham Botanical Gardens will host a special Candlelight Christmas Concert, featuring songs from holiday favourite movies including Love Actually, Home Alone and more.
