easyJet is introducing new routes to Luxor in Egypt along with some exciting new customer packages. easyJet is set to introduce four new routes, including one to Luxor in Egypt, from three airports in the United Kingdom for the first time in almost a decade. Beginning in November, there will be new services to Luxor and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt as well as Oslo in Norway. Beginning this winter, the airline will operate 41 new routes throughout Europe and North Africa, including brand-new locations such the City of Derry airport in Northern Ireland; Tromsø in Norway; and Strasbourg in France.
From November 11, there will be twice weekly departures from London Gatwick to Luxor on Mondays and Thursdays. Luxor, a city renowned for its historic temples and tombs housing well-known landmarks like the Valley of Kings, Luxor Temple, and the Tomb of Tutankhamun, one of Egypt’s most well-known pharaohs. Additionally, easyJet Holidays is partnering with Jaz Hotels & Resorts to offer a 7-night Nile River cruise package holiday to Luxor, making this the ultimate cultural excursion. easyJet Holidays also offers hand-selected 4- and 5-star Luxor hotels for reservation. Vacationers will be able to take in the breath-taking landscape of the Nile River, vast verdant fields, deserts, and mountains while sailing from Luxor to Edfu and Aswan and seeing the internationally recognized Karnak Open Air Museum. All of this is available at an incredibly reasonable price.
The new Gatwick-Luxor service will run twice a week, according to the following schedule:
Gatwick-Luxor: EZY8749, 09:00–16:20 (Thursday)
Gatwick-Luxor: EZY8749, 09:05-16:25 (Monday)
Luxor- Gatwick: EZY8750, 17:15-21:10 (Monday & Thursday)
easyJet is extending its reach into Egypt by launching new winter services to Sharm El Sheikh from Liverpool. The initial flight is scheduled to depart on February 14 and run twice a week during the winter on Mondays and Fridays.
