The duo that’s capturing hearts and imaginations across the globe, Crestar and the Knight Stallion are flying into London to introduce their new epic comic book at London MCM comic con on May 26th, 27th & 28th!
Already garnering an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response and millions of views with their first live action trailer, the duo are now launching a comic book series aimed at expanding the mythology and universe they live in.
“We’re excited to show the world what we’ve been up to and feel that Chaos Quill comics have done a great job at adapting our lives to the comic book world!…although we do feel we’re kinda better looking in real life” says Knight Stallion.
Crestar agrees and adds “we’ve got some movie guys sniffing around but right now we’re really just busy doing our thing. I’m a huge comic fan so this is really my jam.”
Series creators Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad and Abdallah Jasim are developing the live action and comic worlds simultaneously and believe it’s an industry first. “We’ve put as much attention and detail into each panel of the comic as we have into designing the live action part of the project” says Jasim. Ahmad adds “It’s very much a labour of love and we hope we’ve done our home-town heroes proud.”
With a stellar cast of veteran talent like the hugely popular actress Yumna Zaidi, to social media sensations from across the world, the introduction video trailer for Crestar and the Knight Stallion has really managed to tap into an underserved demographic of superhero fans from across the world including Arabic and South Asian countries. The new comic will further expand the world and let fans follow the adventures of this hilarious duo and best buds.
Visitors and super hero fans who visit the London MCM comic con from the 26th – 28th May will also be able to get a copy of the signed special edition issue zero only available at comic con as well as meet the series creators Ahmad and Jasim, just don’t expect to see Crestar and the Knight Stallion at the same time. For some reason it’s always been a challenge getting them all in the same place at the same time.
