Actor Alia Bhatt (Heart of Stone, Gangubai Kathiawadi) is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated film Jigra, slated to release in cinemas globally next week, 11th October. Bhatt surprised around 30,000 fans by attending Grammy-winning DJ Alan Walker’s concert in Bengaluru, India yesterday. Her unexpected appearance sent the crowd into a frenzy, with ‘Chal Kudiye’ playing from the film’s soundtrack, featuring international artist Diljit Dosanjh.
Jigra tells the compelling story of an unbreakable bond between a sister and brother, forged through hardship and unwavering loyalty. When a series of tragic events threatens her brother’s life, the sister embarks on a perilous journey filled with anguish, determination, and an indomitable spirit. Packed with action, gut wrenching visuals, soulful melodies, and moments of profound emotion, the film is poised to be a cinematic experience like no other.
Helmed by visionary director Vasan Bala, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Manoj Pahwa, Aditya Nanda, Yuvraj Vijan, Ishan Jack, Jason Shah, and Harsh Singh, all of whom bring unique energy to the film.
