Motorpoint is opening for business in Manchester this week.
The UK’s leading independent car retailer has been busy transforming the former Mercedes garage on Ashton Old Road in the city in recent months, as part of its ongoing nationwide expansion programme.
Motorpoint, which has a network of stores throughout England, Scotland and Wales, will be welcoming customers through the doors this week following a multi-million-pound investment at the Manchester site. To celebrate the opening on Friday, 1st October, the team will be giving away scratch cards to the first 150 visitors with every customer winning a prize including Dash Cams and meals out in Manchester on Motorpoint. Customers are also invited to compete in the Motorpoint Grand Prix – a giant Scalextric racetrack game, with the best time winning a driving experience.

Motorpoint Manchester will stock 150 low mileage, nearly new cars and light commercial vehicles from 30 different manufacturers’, most of which are under four years old and with less than 30,000 miles. It is open seven days a week, including 8pm weekdays. It also offers free parking as well as free Wi-Fi and a customer café serving a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.
Every vehicle onsite is checked by experts from Motorpoint and comes with the balance of manufacturer’s warranty, or a 3 month Motorpoint warranty and all are backed by the Motorpoint Price Promise. This means Motorpoint will refund the difference to any customer within seven days of their order if they find the same car cheaper from a competitor.
